Returning Online Purchases

If you are not satisfied with the eyeglasses you purchased, you may return them according to the guidelines below. Unused accessories, aside from eyeglasses, that are still in their original condition can also be returned following the same procedure:

You may return your glasses within 30 days of delivery for store credit, which includes reimbursement for any standard shipping fees paid. If you return your glasses within 14 days, you may choose to receive a refund to your original payment method, minus shipping costs.
  • Store Credit

You have 30 days from the delivery date - defined as the day your order is delivered to your address. You will receive a one-time-use store credit equal to the purchase price you paid (including reimbursement for standard shipping).

  • Refund

You have 14 days from the delivery date to return items for a refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping fees, taxes, and any Rush Delivery charges unless required by law) to the original payment method. To return your glasses, you must first contact us to obtain the return authorization number and instructions.

If you paid entirely with store credit, only the amount used for the purchase will be refunded as store credit. If returned within 14 days, for orders paid with a combination of store credit and a credit card, the store credit part will be refunded as a new store credit, while the amount paid by credit card will be refunded to the original card. For late returns over 14 days to 30 days period, the amount paid by credit card will be refunded as store credit.

Discounted Purchases  

If you used a coupon, promo code, or other discount offer (including free-product offers), any refund or store credit will only cover the amount you actually paid for the product. 

Manufacturing and Other Defects

If you believe there is a manufacturing error, return the glasses for inspection within the 30-day period. If our inspection confirms the glasses were made incorrectly, we will remake them at no additional cost. Defects related to anti-reflective coatings or photochromic films are warranty-covered for one year from the date of receipt. We are not responsible for damage caused by regular wear and tear.

If you are returning your glasses due to manufacturing defect, you must contact customer service by email at support@bernanoptical.com to receive an authorization (RA) number and further instructions. No returns will be accepted without an RA.

Please keep the following return conditions in mind:

  • Glasses must be returned in their original packaging and condition. Our return policy excludes damage caused by accidents, improper care, or negligence.
  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your order. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are returning an item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

To streamline the return process, please consolidate all items from your order into a single return package.

We closely monitor return activities to prevent abuse and reserve the right to restrict returns or exchanges when necessary.
